DJ Jesse Jamal’s got yr remedy.

House music bliss with a touch of pop fizz.

BIG ANNOUNCEMENT!

I am so excited to announce my debut single as Jesse Jamal "Wake Up" featuring vocals from the best collaborator I know, my dad, Clif Mason! It will be available on all the streamers - Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon, etc. on Friday, October 30th, aka Halloween Eve and boy, is it a spooky song with a heavy apocalyptic vibe. It's a tech house anthem that'll explode out of your speakers at 134bpm.

If you know my dad, you know he's a great poet and a great reader of his poetry, so when I started making music eight years ago 😮, I knew that one day I wanted to make a song featuring my dad reading one of his poems. This song is an adaptation of his poem "After the Buddha's Fire Sermon." It was written during the Covid days of 2020, but, as with many things, it might be even more relevant today. I wanted to get it out before the election and I'm just squeaking it in there.

I'll be sharing snippets of the song over the next month and I'll let ya know when the single goes live. There will also be single release parties in Sioux City and Omaha. Look for those announcements soon!

This is also just the first single to be released--I have releases planned for the next six months, leading up to a full-length album release early next year!

Thanks everyone for listening, especially Rebecca, who has been a valuable ear, listening to the song over and over the past few months.

Much love to you all!
